Budget presentation: Reps in close-door session ahead of Tinubu’s arrival

The House of Representatives has moved into a closed-door session ahead of the arrival of President Bola Tinubu.

President Tinubu is scheduled to present the 2025 budget to the joint session of the National Assembly.

It would be recalled that the Federal Executive Council (FEC) approved a N47.9 trillion budget on Monday, and the president is expected to make the ceremonial presentation of the budget to the lawmakers.

DAILY POST observed tight security arrangements around the National Assembly, with DSS officers deployed to man strategic places.

Also, men of the Presidential Guards Brigade have arrived at the National Assembly.
