Manchester United manager, Ruben Amorim, has said he will only select Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho against Tottenham Hotspur in the Carabao Cup if they train well.
Both forwards were dropped for United’s 2-1 win at Manchester City on Sunday.
Amorim, speaking after the game at The Etihad, made it clear he is ready to enforce high standards within the squad.
Ahead of the Carabao Cup quarter-final fixture, he was asked about picking Rashford and Garnacho for the game.
He said: “We have one more training but it’s the same as the other players. If they train well, then I have to make a choice.
“We’ll see at the end of training – I expect the best of each player every day so we will see after training.”
