Bayern Munich midfielder, Jamal Musiala has named Argentina captain Lionel Messi as his football idol.
The Germany international described Messi as his hero and favourite player.
“On the back of my shirts as a kid the name was almost always Messi.
“I also had one with Neymar, but Messi was my hero, my favourite player,” Musiala told BILD.
Messi currently plays his club football with Inter Miami.
The former Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain forward has won eight Ballon d’Or awards in his career.
