Rahoton hukumar kididdiga ta kasa (NBS), ya bayyana cewa, daga watan Maris 2023 zuwa Afrilun 2024, an sace wayoyin salula sama da miliyan 25 a Najeriya. Bugu da ƙari, rahoton ya nuna cewa fiye da mutum miliyan 17 sun rasa wayoyinsu a cikin wannan lokaci.
Wannan yana nufin cewa daga cikin kowanne guda 10 na wayoyin salula da ake amfani da su a Najeriya, guda bakwai daga cikinsu an sace a wannan shekara.
NBS ta bayyana cewa satar wayoyi ya fi yawa a gidaje da wuraren taruwar jama’a, yayin da kashi 11.7 na waɗanda aka yi wa satar suka kai rahoton zuwa ga ’yan sanda, kuma suna samun taimako daga hukumomin tsaro.
Hukumar ta kuma bayyana cewa ƙasa da kashi 10 na laifukan satar wayoyi ne suka kai ga ’yan sanda, saboda wasu dalilai daban-daban. A matakin al’umma, kashi 21.4 na ’yan Najeriya sun bayyana cewa an aikata musu laifi wanda ya saba wa doka, kuma satar wayoyi na daga cikin manyan laifukan, wanda ke da kashi 13.8 na yawan laifukan da aka aikata.
