This came after he fulfilled the court-mandated bail requirements, and the attorney also shared what he claimed God had revealed him about the project of battling evil. He claimed that he had never had any need to lie about anyone in his life and that all of his statements about a person or organization were accurate. Famous Nigerian lawyer Afe Babalola accused Farotimi of defamation in a book he published, which resulted in the police arrest and incarceration of the latter.
Babalola’s team and Inspector General of Police Kayode Egbetokun filed defamation charges against him at an Ekiti State Magistrate Court. On December 6, a dozen further accusations were filed against the human rights attorney at the Federal High Court in Ekiti.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
