Emeka Beke, the chairman of the APC in Rivers State, has vehemently denied any allegations of cooperation between him and the PDP-affiliated governor of the state. “I’m not a member of the PDP,” Beke said, expressing amazement at the rumors and reaffirming his loyalty to the APC.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
The governor is a member of PDP, I’m an APC member, and I’m surprised to hear that from anybody that will say that I’m working with him. If I’m working, it’s Tony Okocha working with the FCT Minister—that’s what it means. But I can tell you clearly, I’m not working with anybody.”
He further stressed the governor’s role, stating, “The governor is the governor of Rivers State; the governor is father to everybody in Rivers State.
