In his speech, the president reaffirmed his commitment to leaving behind a country where everyone may dream, work, and prosper in safety, where there is peace and plenty of chances.
In a post on his X account on Saturday, President Tinubu emphasized the point by recalling the National Assembly’s presentation of the 2025 budget. He said that all Nigerians may look forward to a better future and that the time has come to stop complaining and take action. In his remarks, Tinubu pointed out that although the path to change and reform has not been straightforward, there has been unquestionable progress.
He claims that he presented the 2025 budget ideas to the National Assembly’s joint session with the topic “2025 Budget of Restoration: Securing Peace, Rebuilding Prosperity” just a little more than three weeks ago, or twenty-four days to be exact. We are creating a Nigeria where there is peace, plenty of opportunity, and safety for all citizens to dream, work, and prosper, as I told our Federal Legislators. In order to recreate our history for future generations, we must proceed as a single, cohesive nation rather than as individuals.
“The time for lamentation is over,” to paraphrase a passage from my speech that discusses our optimism for the future of our wonderful country, Nigeria. Now is the moment to take action. a moment to encourage and support further private sector investment.
