The Directorate General of Security Services and Internal Exile (DGSSIE) of Chad has neutralized a number of Boko Haram militants who stormed the country’s presidential palace in N’Djamena on Wednesday. Zagazola Makama, a security analyst and counter-insurgency specialist in Lake Chad, confirmed the killings. Social media users have shared a video of the reacting forces shooting at members of the terrorist organization and apprehending a number of the attackers. Nonetheless, Makama said: “The Directorate General of Security Services and Internal Exile of Chad, DGSSIE, proved their effectiveness in eliminating the threat, guaranteeing the security of government establishments and important personnel.”
