Mixed reactions trail after a magistrate court banned the sale of the controversial book written by Dele Farotimi, a renowned human rights activist and writer. The book which directly pointed accusing fingers at Afe Babalola, a renowned legal practitioner and the Nigerian Judiciary stirred mixed reactions from different quarters as many individuals took to different platforms to express their opinions.
In light of this, some professors and lawyers under the platform of Justice for Afe Babalola Legacy, JABL in a recent statement which was made available to the general public by news outlet, VANGUARD today being Friday the 27th day of December 2024 made it known that nobody will reference the book.
In their statements, they pointed out that nobody worth his salt will cite the book because according to them, the book was not written based on fact. They further pointed out that Dele Farotimi was resentful of Afe Babalola’s success.

“Nobody worth his salt will cite the book because it’s not predicated on fact. One thing I have discovered in Nigeria is that we have a generation of people who become resentful of you when you are successful.
