Popular Nigerian singer Olawale Ashimi, known professionally as Brymo, has opened up about a time he was caught cheating on his wife. Speaking in an interview with TVC News, the artist shared a personal and controversial experience from two years ago, revealing how a heated argument with his wife led to infidelity.

Bryon explained that after the fight, he chose to leave his home and check into a guest house. His wife was supposed to meet him there, but she failed to show up, leaving him frustrated. In his anger, Brymo turned to a sidechick, calling her to keep him company for the night. The situation quickly escalated, and Brymo ended up spending the night with the other woman.

However, things took a dramatic turn when, in the early hours of the morning, his wife arrived at the guest house and knocked on his door. At that point, Brymo was confronted by the reality of his actions. Two years later, during a reunion with friends, including fellow musician 2Face Idibia and his wife Annie, Brymo’s wife asked him directly about the events that had occurred that night. With the pressure of being caught and unable to lie, Brymo admitted that he had been with another woman.

In his words: “I had a fight at home, so I had to leave. I went to a guest house, and she was supposed to come meet me there, but she didn’t show up. I was really pissed off, so I called a side chick. Then, around midnight — maybe 3 or 4 a.m. — she showed up at the door, knocking. Two years later, we were sitting at that same spot in the guest house with 2Face, Annie, and the rest of us. My wife was there, and she asked, ‘Two years ago, on that particular day, was there a girl in your room or not?’ I said, ‘That’s why I didn’t open the door — there was someone there.’ I had to confess because, at that point, if I had said there was nobody there, I would have been a liar in public.”
