A victim of domestic abuse has described how, after they were married, her husband began to treat her brutally. She claimed that she didn’t want to have a child with her husband since he frequently hits her.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Shuga Plum, the woman said that she secretly began using contraceptives to avoid getting pregnant. She mentioned that after having intercourse with her husband, she would secretly take contraceptive pills. She said one day her husband caught her while she was taking it. She said he became very angry, beat her, and even hit her on her stomach. She added that she was left with bruises all over her body.
In her words: “I started taking contraceptives to prevent pregnancy. I was hiding to take it. After making love with my husband I will hide to take it. But finally one day he caught me when I was taking it and he beat me. He hit me on my stomach and I was left with bruises on my body. He left me and walked away”
