In an interview with Symfoni TV, Sara-Igbe questioned Akpabio’s standing to criticize Governor Fubara. “Akpabio has no justification to even come to condemn Sim Fubara and at the same time threaten Sim Fubara. How can you threaten the state Governor, when you are the state governor?” he queried.
The elder statesman questioned why Senator Akpabio was unable to have a good relationship with his predecessor after he also became the governor of Akwa Ibom: “Obong Attah made you a commissioner under him, and he made sure you became governor after him. When you became Governor, what happened between you and Obong Attah?”
Sara-Igbe further argued that the Senate President utterances are not good enough for the people of Rivers State and the people of Niger Delta. There has been a backlash in recent weeks after Senator Godswill Akpabio rebuked the Governor of Rivers state for not recognizing the Martin Amaewhule led assembly.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
