Anthony Ehilebo, The Gov Asking LG Chairmen For Accounts, Sounded Like Pres. Asking Govs For Accounts

 

Anthony Ehilebo, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State, voiced his dissatisfaction of the suspension of local government chairmen in Edo State in an interview with Politics Today, a show on Channels Television. Allegations of flagrant misconduct and disobedience to Governor Monday Okpebholo were the grounds for the suspension. A prominent member of the PDP had said, “It is now unfortunate that the person who advised the Governor is now the one who advises the Governor.” In addition, it is clear that he would not have been able to accomplish this feat on his own if he had not been assisted by the persons in question. The acts of the Governor make this statement quite plain.
