Former presidents Olusegun Obasanjo, Muhammadu Buhari, and Goodluck Jonathan are not legitimate politicians, Sowunmi said. In an interview with TVC News, the PDP leader stated that the opposition faces significant challenges under Tinubu’s rule. It is getting harder for the opposition to resist Tinubu’s government, Sowunmi claims.
“The first thing we need to accept, and we are accepting now, is that our work is cut out for us in the current APC, President Tinubu-led federal government,” he stated. The first legitimate politician to win an election and take office is President Tinubu. Since Obasanjo and Buhari were soldiers, they were unable to claim to be politicians. Since he took office over other people’s suffering, Jonathan was unable to claim to be a politician, but Tinubu is.
