According to a post on the official X handle of Demola Olarewaju, the former Vice President’s spokesman said recent events showed that Nigerians are hungry under the government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Demola Olarewaju expressed displeasure that people are getting killed in their search for food.
Demola Olarewaju had written, “Under Bola Tinubu, Nigerians across the country are scrambling for food from charitable organizations and dying in stampedes—the poverty is deep, but APC says, “All is well”.
