Manchester United manager, Ruben Amorim, has dropped the attacking duo of Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho from his matchday squad for the trip to Manchester City on Sunday.
The two players will not be on the bench at The Etihad.
This was revealed by football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, via X an hour before kick-off.
Romano wrote: “BREAKING: Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho are NOT in the Man United squad for the Derby.
“Not even on the bench.”
Both players featured in United’s 2-1 win at Viktoria Plzen in the Europa League on Thursday.
