Former Chelsea midfielder, John Obi Mikel has criticized Cole Palmer, saying the England international was quiet against Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool.

According to the former Super Eagles captain, Palmer has failed to show up against big teams this season.

Speaking on his podcast, Obi Mikel said (via One Football):

“We talk about Cole Palmer, I’m a huge fan. I think everybody is a huge fan. But again, the big games. You need to show up.

“That again is my only question with Haaland. So far, Haaland hasn’t done that for City. So far, Cole Palmer hasn’t done it for us.”

He added, “He was quiet against City, Liverpool the same, United again.”

Palmer joined Chelsea from Manchester City last year.
