Europa League: Durosinmi laments Viktoria Plzen’s loss to Lazio

Nigeria forward, Rafiu Durosinmi has expressed disappointment with Viktoria Plzen’s home defeat to Lazio.

Plzen went down 2-1 to Marco Baroni’s side in the first leg of their UEFA Europa League Round of 16 contest on Thursday night.

Durosinmi cancelled out Alessio Romagnoli’s opener for Lazio early in the second half.

Gustav Isaksen, however, won it for Lazio with a sublime finish deep into stoppage time.

“It is a tremendous pity for us. We had chances to add the second goal, but they scored. But anything can happen in the second leg,” the Nigerian told Nova Sport.

The two teams will clash in the reverse fixture in Rome next week Thursday.
