Exclusive: News: A man was arrested after he fled the petrol station without paying the roughly ₦54,600 fuel bill.

Nigerian Abilomu Adedoyin was caught after he ran away from a filling station in Ado Ekiti state without paying for petrol totaling fifty-eight thousand, five hundred and forty-eight naira (₦58,548.40).CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

The gas station worker followed him after he filled up and drove off without paying the bill. He was eventually apprehended by the authorities as a result of the incident receiving extensive publicity on social media site X (previously Twitter).

Another intriguing aspect about the incident has come to light as a result of more investigation. Adedoyin bought the car that he used to escape the gas station in 2023. The fact that the license plate number was still registered in the prior owner’s name, however, was found to indicate that Adedoyin had not correctly transferred possession of the car.

Adedoyin’s activities and whether he was trying to hide his identity or avoid responsibility are further called into doubt by this. “THE CRIMINAL HAS BEEN APPREHENDED and is now in police custody!” the X User said in a recent post. He goes by the name ABILOMU ADEDOYIN.NOTE: The car was still registered to the previous owner when it was sold to him in 2023, or two years ago.
