According to a report by CITYNOBS some unidentified gunmen abducted two Catholic reverend sisters in the Orumba North Local Government Area of Anambra State.

Eyewitness reports claimed that the victims were on their way back from their vocational association’s meeting at Ogboji community in Orumba North LGA when they were abducted

While reacting to the news, Peter Obi took to his official social media handle on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Thursday and expressed his concern over the increasing insecurity across the country

He appealed to the government to ensure the safe release of the kidnapped victims and improve security.

Posting on X, Peter Obi wrote, “Yesterday, 2 Reverend Sisters, one a principal and the other a teacher who work in our different schools in Anambra state, were again kidnapped.
