“Ezekiel is not a good person” Landlord reacts as former tenants plan to divorce each other

Ezekiel and Omolara’s marriage, once praised as a strong Christian union, has now turned into a public and bitter fight. What started as a hopeful relationship has broken down, with both sides accusing each other of abuse, lies, betrayal, and emotional pain.

According to The Punch, the couple is now separated and has taken their issues to the public, speaking openly in interviews, podcasts, and social media. Their story got more attention when Omolara appeared on a podcast called “Talk to B” hosted by Nollywood actress Biola Adebayo. There, she made several serious claims against Ezekiel, who used to be a youth pastor with the Deeper Life Bible Church.

Omolara, who was visibly upset during the interview, said she suffered physical and emotional abuse during the marriage. She also accused members of Ezekiel’s family of mistreating her. She said that on the day of their traditional wedding, Ezekiel’s mother tried to beat her because she arrived late. She also claimed that Ezekiel’s sister once gave her food she was allergic to, just to test if she was telling the truth.

A former landlord of the couple, who chose to remain anonymous, reportedly criticised Ezekiel for what he described as a lack of concern for his wife’s well-being. According to the landlord, there was an incident when Omolara fainted in the compound, prompting him to rush her to a hospital in Arepo. He recalled that the hospital staff refused to admit her until a deposit was paid, so he immediately paid ₦50,000 for her treatment. Although Ezekiel later returned and expressed gratitude, the landlord noted that he never reimbursed the money.

The landlord further alleged that Omolara frequently complained to him about her situation. On several occasions, she reportedly asked him for financial assistance to buy food, and he would sometimes give her ₦20,000 or ₦25,000. However, he eventually stopped providing her with money.

Further talking, he said, “Ezekiel is not a good person; he is why I’m considering not giving my house out to any tenant again. They damaged my property before leaving, and I had to spend over N3m to refurbish it.”
