Fubara:People told me “this man we are dying, risking everything for Doesn’t reach out to us”—Momodu Revealed

Dele Momodu, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), said he was surprised that Governor Siminalayi Fubara did not call some of his supporters to appreciate them for their support amid the political crisis in Rivers Speaking in an exclusive interview with The Sun, Momodu said that many people supported Fubara without asking for any money because they simply believed in him. Yet, according to Momodu, Fubara didn’t even pick up the phone once to call them and show that he appreciated their efforts.

Momodu said some supporters of Fubara had complained to him that they risked everything for Fubara but he did not reach out to them to appreciate their efforts. He said, “It is unfortunate, because a lot of people have complained to me that, hey, Philip, do you know that this man, we are dying and risking everything for him in Rivers, he doesn’t reach out to them?”

Peter Obi is criticized by Sanwo-Olu for remarks he made on poverty at a U.S. university.
