According to DAILY POST,controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, better known as Portable, has warned that he will make sure anyone who defames him is arrested.This threat came after he was recently arrested and sent to prison for allegedly defaming veteran fuji musician Akorede Saheed, also known as Saheed Osupa.
In a video that quickly went viral, Portable said he would take legal action against anyone who speaks badly of him from now on. He explained that after facing legal trouble himself over defamation, he would not hesitate to do the same to anyone who targets him.Portable, famous for his song “Zazu,” said,“anyone who talks badly about me or defames me will be arrested. They did it to me, and I will do it to anyone else too. There will be no mercy.”
It was reported that Portable was sent to the Oke Kura Correctional Centre in Ilorin, Kwara State, after failing to meet tough bail conditions set by an Upper Area Court. He was later released on bail after Saheed Osupa withdrew the case against him.
