Angela Okorie, a well-known Nollywood actress, has formally ended her relationship with Oil Money, her ex-boyfriend. The actress talked candidly about the hurt and disappointment that caused their relationship to end in a string of heartfelt photos on her Instagram story. According to the DAILY POST, her disclosures depicted a picture of profound betrayal, deception, and heartache at the hands of a man she had once proudly presented to the public.

According to Angela, her former partner was anything but the person he initially portrayed himself to be. She accused him of being deceitful, stating that he engaged in multiple secret affairs—many of which involved some of her female colleagues within the Nollywood industry. She said that it became clear over time that his charm and romantic gestures were only a cover for an opportunistic pursuit of influence, notoriety, and connections within her professional circle.

What made the situation especially painful for Angela was the realization that the man she had trusted had used their relationship as a stepping stone to infiltrate the world of Nigerian entertainment. Rather than being genuinely interested in her as a person, she said, he appeared to be motivated by a hunger for fame and power, leveraging their relationship to meet and pursue women he believed could advance his ambitions.

In a report published by DAILY POST, the actress did not hide her emotions. Clearly upset, she explained that this experience had changed her perspective on publicizing personal matters. Angela vowed never again to share intimate details or images of her romantic life on social media. She acknowledged that being in the public eye makes one particularly vulnerable, especially when one’s partner lacks honesty and sincere intentions.

She went further to describe Oil Money as a man with a superficial personality—someone obsessed with appearances and attention rather than building a meaningful connection. She claimed he was more interested in clout-chasing than in nurturing a real relationship and likened his behavior to that of a social climber using charm to gain access to wealth and influence.

One of the most disturbing moments she recalled was a conversation where he allegedly bragged about his goal to seduce affluent women in Lagos and within Nollywood. That confession, she said, removed any remaining doubts she had about his motives. For Angela, this confirmed that the man she thought she loved was never truly committed to her but instead saw their relationship as a vehicle for his personal gain.

Angela made it clear that this chapter of her life is closed. She emphasized that she has learned from the experience and will be much more cautious going forward. She expressed renewed determination to protect her peace and only entertain people with genuine intentions in the future. In a strongly worded message to both her ex and the public, she made it clear that he no longer has a place in her life and that any continued association or posting of her pictures by him would be unwelcome.
