I Told The Woman, How Am I Supposed To Pay 150 To 200 CFA Daily By Using My Private Part- Adeola Omotosho by Citynobs May 31, 2025, 2:27 am Adeola Omotosho, daughter of renowned Nollywood actress Jumoke George, recounted her traumatic experience of being trafficked to Mali under false pretenses in an interview on Biola Adebayo’s YouTube channel, “Talk to B,” on Lured by a family friend named Blessing with a job offer to manage a pharmacy, Omotosho, a trained auxiliary nurse with pharmacy knowledge, traveled to Mali without informing her family, believing it was a legitimate opportunity. Upon arrival, she discovered the job was a ruse. The woman she was meant to work for revealed that Omotosho had been sold for a significant sum and was expected to repay it through prostitution. Devastated, Omotosho firmly refused, sparking a heated confrontation. Despite threats and psychological coercion, she stood her ground, stating she lacked the physical and emotional capacity for such work and could collapse if forced. She said: “I told the woman, how am I supposed to be paying you 150 to 200 CFA daily by using my private part (means through prostitution)? I don’t even remember having a private part. I then told her that, as she’s looking at me like this, I don’t have the strength to sleep with men. Even if I try it once, I’m going to faint.” Omotosho’s ordeal, which began four years ago, gained attention after her mother’s emotional plea on Adebayo’s podcast, leading to her rescue by the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) on May 19, 2025. NiDCOM’s chairperson, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, confirmed Adeola’s return, crediting Adebayo and actor Adeniyi Johnson for raising awareness. Omotosho’s story highlights the deceptive tactics of traffickers and her resilience, while underscoring the critical role of public advocacy and government intervention in combating human trafficking.
