Iyabo explained that while Bimbo was protective and wanted to ensure she stayed grounded, it was Bimbo’s mother who ultimately encouraged her to allow Iyabo to live freely. “Her mother told her to allow me to live my life because I was a young girl at the time,” Iyabo said.
