Writing in an open letter to former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Lukman urged the elder statesman to unite other former leaders, including Generals Yakubu Gowon, Ibrahim Babangida, Abdulsalami Abubakar, Muhammadu Buhari, and Goodluck Jonathan, to form a formidable opposition party capable of challenging the dominance of the APC and President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.
