“The judiciary’s role is to uphold justice, not to perpetuate injustice,” Uku said, citing the court’s disregard for due process and individual rights. In this instance, their behaviour demonstrates a basic ignorance of the concepts of accountability and justice. Uku also chastised Nigerian courts for their handling of public figure issues.
