Adenike Taiwo has disclosed how her husband, a pastor, mistreated her in front of churchgoers during a service. She has also described what transpired after her husband beat her.In a video that was posted on the official YouTube channel of Biola Adebayo Ent during an interview, she explained that her husband, who is a pastor, beat her up inside the church till she started vomiting blood.
In her statement, she said, “My husband insisted that I should be a full housewife without doing any job, and I submitted to his order. Whenever anybody offends my husband, I will be the one to be punished for other people’s mistakes, and he will beat me up mercilessly because maybe he was trying to frustrate me to break up with him, but I refused to divorce him. A woman whom my husband was dating in our church told my husband that I didn’t greet her appropriately when I saw her, and my husband started reacting strangely to me. My husband is a pastor, but he beat me inside the church till I started vomiting blood. When the church elders called the two of us for settlement, he started accusing me of not washing our toilet and some other things that were not relevant to the issue on the ground.”
