In the interview, Omolara accused Ezekiel of physical abuse, neglect, and infidelity. However, in an interview with Punch Ezekiel gave his own version of the story. He said they dated for two years before marriage, and during that time, he didn’t notice any serious “red flags” in her. He stated she began having extra-marital affairs in Nigeria before they both travelled to Qatar. He claimed that she would return home and give off signs that made him suspect she had sex with someone, even though he didn’t want to believe it at first due to their Christian background. Ezekiel further stated that he once found a male condom in her pocket and read messages on her phone that suggested she had been having inappropriate discussions with several men. He also said that people who knew Omolara during her nursing training in Qatar told him that she was involved with multiple men.
