Nasarawa United’s technical director, Kabiru Dogo, has stated that his team will not give up despite their challenging start to the season.
The Solid Miners suffered a 1-0 defeat to Akwa United in a Matchday 12 fixture at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium on Saturday.
The loss dropped the team to 19th position in the league standings.
Dogo expressed his disappointment with the result in a post-match interview.
“It’s a difficult start to the season for us, but we won’t give up,” Dogo said. “It’s a disappointing result for us.
“We created some chances and even had a numerical advantage at some point, but we couldn’t capitalize on those opportunities.
“We will keep fighting. We will regroup and work on our areas of weakness moving forward.”
Nasarawa United have recorded three wins, three draws, and six defeats in their 12 matches this season.
