Natasha/Akpabio: “There Was Some Information We Gathered, There Is Actually a Pattern

Christie Oby Ndukwe, the President of the Citizens Quest for Truth Initiative, has questioned the authenticity of sexual harassment allegations recently brought forward by Senator Natasha Akpoti, urging the public to approach the issue with deeper scrutiny and less emotional bias. In a revealing interview aired on Channels Television, Ndukwe claimed that behind-the-scenes investigations conducted by her organization have unearthed critical evidence that complicates the narrative being presented to the public.

The allegations, which have attracted national attention and public outcry, revolve around Senator Akpoti’s claim of being sexually harassed by a prominent political figure. However, Ndukwe has now entered the conversation with a counter-narrative that suggests manipulation, misinformation, and an orchestrated attempt to shape public opinion in favor of the complainant.

“There is actually a pattern,” Ndukwe stated during the interview, “and that pattern reveals deliberate efforts to control the narrative.” She went on to allege that private conversations, particularly between Senator Akpoti’s husband and the accused party, raise serious doubts about the legitimacy of the claims. “There was some information we gathered, phone conversations leaked,” she said, indicating that her team had access to sensitive audio exchanges that paint a different picture than what has been shared publicly.

According to Ndukwe, these conversations suggest an unusually close relationship between the two families, which casts further doubt on the harassment claims. “There’s nothing to show that it actually happened—considering the fact that they have a relationship. The two families—her husband and Apio—they’re very close,” she said, referencing the alleged familiarity between the parties involved.
