Natasha:

The Director of Public Prosecution in Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Friday Itim, who was part of the team that prosecuted the murder case of Iniubong Umoren, has denied claims that her organs were harvested. He said this while reacting to a voice note allegedly from Senator Natasha, accusing Senator Godswill Akpabio of using Iniubong’s organs to treat his wife, Ekaette.

According to Punch, Itim stated that the true story of Iniubong’s death was already established in court. He disclosed that Uduak Abasi Akpan lured Iniubong with a fake job offer and later tried to have unprotected sex with her. He said Iniubong refused and Uduak Abasi then used a stabilizer to hit her on the head and stomach, which caused her death. He said, “Uduak Abasi single handedly killed Iniubong by hitting her head with a stabiliser over her refusal to allow him to have raw sex”

Itim also stated that ten witnesses were brought to court during the trial, and the court found Uduak Abasi guilty. He said that there was no mention of Akpabio throughout the case and he asked the authorities to take action against Senator Natasha. He said “The murderer who preyed on Iniubong to offer a job later demanded to have raw sex with her, though she wanted him to use a condom. The incident led to a struggle and argument, and a subsequent assault in which Uduak Abasi hit her head and abdomen with a stabiliser, and she died.”
