NPFL: Abdallah explains Musa, Abdullahi’s absence from Katsina United clash

Kano Pillars technical adviser, Usman Abdallah has disclosed the supporters displeasure with the absence of their veteran stars in the derby clash against Katsina United.

DAILY POST reports that Ahmed Musa and Shehu Abdullahi were rested for the game, while Rabiu Ali was absent due to national team engagement.

Abdallah admitted that the team have formidable replacement for the players.

“The crowd missed them but you can see the people are happy with the replacement to see this young boys displaying their skills around here is something good,” he told the club’s media.

“For me it’s all about the future of the team and i’m happy we have a team for the future.”

Musa and Shehu are expected to return for Kano Pillars in the next league game against Shooting Stars in Ibadan.
