NPFL: Rangers assistant coach satisfied with draw against Enyimba

Rangers assistant coach, Ekenedilichukwu Eke has expressed satisfaction with the team’s performance against Enyimba.

The holders forced the People’s Elephant to a 0-0 draw in a keenly contested oriental derby at the Enyimba International Stadium, Aba on Tuesday.

Enyimba dominated possession in the game but the Flying Antelopes put up a resolute display at the back.

Eke said getting a share of the spoils was a good one for his team.

“I can say this is a fantastic result for us, coming all the way from Enugu to Aba to secure a point. It wasn’t an easy game at all, “he said after the game.

” From start to finish, it was intense and highly competitive. I give credit to both teams, but more to my players—they performed wonderfully well. It’s a good result for us.”
