Nyesom Wike says. “Look At Me Very Well—do I Look 18? 19? 20 Years Old? I’m Still Competing With My Son

In a recent video on YouTube, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has firmly dismissed persistent rumours about his health, declaring that he remains strong, active, and very much alive. Speaking at a public event, Wike criticized those who spread false claims about his condition, reaffirming that he was never seriously ill as speculated.

He noted that despite his demanding responsibilities, he remains in excellent health, even engaging in friendly competition with his son. Wike expressed surprise at the level of misinformation circulated about him, emphasizing that even if he had fallen ill, it would have been a normal human experience given the intensity of his workload. He acknowledged that survival through any health challenge would be a testament to the grace of God.

According to him, “I’ll write the condolence message to your family. Look at me very well—do I look 18? 19? 20 years old? I’m still competing with my son. I’m not dead. I was never sick. But even if I was sick, am I not human? And with the kind of work I’m doing—if I was sick and survived—it’s by the grace of God.”
