Obaseki’s Aide Response After Peter Obi Said Edo Election Was Rigged And That Everyone Knows Who Won

Ogbeide Ifaluyi-Isibor, the Commissioner for Digital Economy, Science and Technology under the administration of former governor, Godwin Obaseki, has taken to his official X account to react to the comment that former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi made about the 2024 governorship election in Edo state.

In the video that surfaced online, the former governor of Anambra state said the governorship election in Edo state was rigged.

According to Peter Obi;

“We are not a democratic country, let’s tell ourselves the truth. The last election in Edo, is it democratic? It is the most undemocratic election. Everybody Knows who won the election”.

Reacting, Ogbeide Ifaluyi-Isibor appreciated Peter Obi for the comment. He said the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Asue Ighodalo won the election.

According to Ogbeide Ifaluyi-Isibor on his official X account;

“The whole world knows what happened in Edo. Asue Ighodalo won the highest number of lawful votes at the election. The demolition governor is illegitimate in the eyes of the people. This is the simple truth”.
