Operatives of the Adamawa State Police Command have arrested three persons for allegedly possessing illegal substances.
The state command stated on Friday that as part of its ongoing efforts to combat drug-related crimes, it acted on credible information on Wednesday, December 18, and conducted a raid on a criminal hideout in Malabu, a community in Fufore Local Government Area.
“During the operation, three suspects were arrested, and substances suspected to be Indian hemp and hard drugs, among others, were recovered from them,” the command said in a press release.
The release, signed by the State Police Public Relations Officer, Suleiman Nguroje, identified the suspects as Shafiu Musa, Idris Mohammed, and Bashiru Nasiru.
It assured the public that the Adamawa State Police Command remains steadfast in its commitment to ensuring the safety and security of the state.
