Primate Ayodele Predicts Eight Northern Candidates Would Vie for Presidency Seat After Tinubu

Primate Elijah Ayodele, the spiritual leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has prophesied that Nigeria’s current National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, holds the potential to become president following President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s tenure. In a statement released through his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Ayodele emphasized that Ribadu’s path to presidency would be challenging, urging him to reposition and strategize effectively. According to the cleric, several individuals, especially those close to Ribadu from the northern region, would turn against him and attempt to stir discord between him and President Tinubu.

According to report from Nigerian Tribune, Ayodele predicted that around eight candidates from the North would vie for the presidency, with Ribadu being the most prominent among them. However, even within his own party, the APC, Ribadu would face internal opposition and a coordinated effort to undermine his candidacy. The cleric warned that Ribadu must prepare for betrayal, particularly from those he had previously supported, suggesting that political backstabbing would be a major hurdle in his presidential ambition.

A unique element of Ayodele’s prophecy is the pivotal role women will play in Ribadu’s political future. He stressed that women would ultimately determine the outcome of Ribadu’s presidential bid. Ayodele advised Ribadu not to oppose women with political aspirations and to support their goals, as doing otherwise could derail his ambitions. He noted that when Ribadu’s political journey becomes difficult, it will be women who help him navigate through the obstacles. Furthermore, Ayodele cautioned Ribadu against marrying outside his tribe, warning that such a decision could bring complications.

The cleric highlighted that although Ribadu has many adversaries, most are not powerful enough to alter his path. However, he reiterated that women are the decisive factor for his future success. Ribadu was encouraged to win his home state for the APC in the upcoming 2027 elections and avoid the same pitfalls that hindered his previous gubernatorial bid. According to Ayodele, Ribadu is a significant political figure, but the struggle ahead is formidable and will require vigilance, alliances, and wisdom especially regarding his engagement with women in politics.
