Rivers: Tinubu Now Probably Realized That Declaring A State Of Emergency Was A Mistake — Abba Kaka Revealed

 

Abba Kaka, a public policy analyst, voiced concerns regarding the declaration of a state of emergency in Rivers State, explaining that it is possible that President Bola Tinubu realized he was deceived by Nyesom Wike and that he made a mistake by declaring a state of emergency.When speaking with Arise Television, he doubted if the declaration of a state of emergency was necessary, given the continuing political hostilities between former Governor Wike and incumbent Governor Siminalayi Fubara.

Furthermore, he implied that Wike is presently looking for peace based on his most recent conversation.

 

Kaka argued that there was no threat to national security in Rivers that would justify such a drastic decision, unlike the long-standing insecurity in places like Borno, Katsina, and Plateau. According to Kaka, aside from the disagreements between Wike and Fubara, the issue is that everyone is questioning why Rivers was placed under a state of emergency.

 

“Fubara told people to calm down because he saw the storm coming. You know that the suspended governor had a meeting with the president.”

“The president now probably realized from the commotion going on that maybe it was a mistake to have declared a state of emergency; maybe he was misled by people like Wike and others.”
