We Were Paid – 92-Year-Old Man’s Surprising Revelation About Nigeria Left Many in Tears at Dunamis

According to a recent video by Idoma TV, a 92-year-old man, Pa Olusola Ajelore, moved worshippers to tears at Dunamis Church as he recounted the golden days of Nigeria under Sardauna’s leadership. The elder, from Kogi State, revealed that every student admitted to a tertiary institution received full scholarships covering tuition, lodging, meals, and allowances, referred to then as *Bulgaria*.

“We even had book and warm clothing allowances for those studying abroad,” he said. He recalled riding a scooter from Ibadan at midnight without fear, stressing how secure and united the country once was.

Criticizing the current state of governance, he lamented how some governors now receive over N1 billion monthly as security votes. He declared that only a people-driven constitution, not one imposed, can restore Nigeria’s true freedom. His emotional testimony drew applause, tears, and deep reflection from the congregation.

His Words:” Like I told you yesterday, I got married when I was in university.

From my allowance as a student, we had book allowance. If you went overseas, you had what was called *warm clothing allowance.”
