Wike Said”I Told Gov Bala Let Us Support Tinubu Because If Atiku Comes He Will Deal With Me”— says by Warmate

 

 

Samuel Anyanwu’s PDP crisis has been discussed by Comrade Daboiikiyabo Warmate. He said that Anyanwu’s close ties to FCT Minister Nyesom Wike are the reason why some party leaders want to oust him from his position as PDP national secretary.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Daily Trust TV, Warmate said some of the people like Governor Bala Mohammed who are fighting Anyanwu were once allies of Wike and they joined him to support Tinubu in the presidential election. He said Governor Bala secretly supported Tinubu during the election and Wike even disclosed how he convinced Governor Bala to support Tinubu instead of Atiku.

Warmate said Wike disclosed that he had told Governor Bala at an airport to support Tinubu, citing concerns that Atiku would punish him (Wike) if he emerged victorious. He said, “The FCT minister Wike said ‘I told him (Bala) at the airport that please let us support Tinubu because if Atiku comes he will deal with me'”
