Enoch Adeboye: I said we should pray for Nigeria, but people said I should keep shut; I never argued

Several Nigerians have taken to the streets to express their grievances regarding the hike in the prices of commodities and the rising inflation level, which was said to have followed the removal of the fuel subsidy by the current administration led by Bola Tinubu.

However, in the video, the eighty-two-year-old pastor, Enoch Adeboye, recounted how Nigerians had failed to heed his advice when he urged them to pray and intercede for the country’s situation, but rather, they chose to protest and demonstrate against the current administration.

According to the video, “Several times in the past I have said let’s pray for Nigeria; our problems are spiritual, and people will say keep your mouth shut; what we need is demonstration and protest.”.
