Filipina model Geneva Lopez, 27, and her Israeli lover Yitshak Cohen, 37, vanished two weeks ago.
The pair left their home on June 21 to drive to Capas City in Tarlac, the Philippines to discuss a property deal.
Their SUV was found burning on the outskirts of Cristo Rey village in Capas the next morning, prompting a frantic search for the couple.
Cops soon received a mystery tip off from an informant who claimed he had been ordered to set the car on fire.
It led the special search task to an overgrown quarry site in Capas where they discovered the bodies of the two buried side by side in a shallow grave.
Philippine National Police spokesman Police Colonel Jean Fajardo said: “The informant was the one who pointed us to the grave. If not for him, we would still be searching until now.”
The autopsy revealed that the pair had died from gunshot wounds.
The bullet pierced through Geneva’s heart and lungs, while Yitshak was shot in his left lung.
Four suspects have been arrested, including two dismissed cops who face charges of illegal firearm possession.
