According to Russia to Israel: Withdraw Your Forces from Lebanon Immediately; Warns It Could Lead to All-Out War

Russia has reportedly demanded that Israel remove its forces from Lebanon, threatening to escalate the conflict in the Middle East further if Israel continues its military operations there, according to Reuters. In a statement released by the Russian foreign ministry, officials expressed strong condemnation of Israel’s ground operations, which began earlier this week. “Russia strongly condemns the attack on Lebanon and calls on the Israeli authorities to immediately cease hostilities, withdraw their troops from Lebanese territory and engage in a real search for peaceful ways to resolve the Middle East conflict,” the statement read…. The Israeli military announced that commando and paratroop units had launched what they described as “limited” raids into southern Lebanon. These incursions are part of a broader strategy aimed at targeting Hezbollah positions, which Israel claims pose an immediate threat to its northern communities. The situation escalated further when Hezbollah retaliated by firing a barrage of missiles into Israel, including strikes aimed at its intelligence agency near Tel Aviv.

The Russian statement emphasized that Israel’s military actions, particularly following the assassination of several Hezbollah leaders, would likely exacerbate tensions in the region. “It is obvious that such a step taken by the Israeli military and political leadership will lead to a further escalation of violence in the Middle East region,” it warned.

This latest round of hostilities comes amid an already volatile environment following Israel’s extensive airstrikes against Hezbollah targets in Lebanon. The conflict has resulted in significant casualties, with reports indicating that more than 1,000 people have died and over 2,900 others have been injured due to recent attacks. The Lebanese Health Ministry has documented these figures as the humanitarian situation deteriorates.

As military operations intensify, both sides are bracing for potential further confrontations. Israel’s Defense Minister Yoav Gallant has indicated that the military will use all necessary means to ensure national security, while Hezbollah has vowed to continue its resistance against Israeli incursions.

The international community is closely monitoring these developments, with many leaders urging restraint and calling for diplomatic solutions to prevent further violence. The United Nations has expressed concern over the humanitarian implications of continued military actions in Lebanon and Gaza, where civilian casualties are mounting.CLICK TO READ THE FULL NEWS HERE▶️▶️
