A real estate issue has emerged, according to Brekete Family TV, as Oluwadamilola Adenuga is still vying for complete ownership of a house that her aunt Tokumbo bought almost ten years ago. Adenuga, who is currently in London, has sent a representative to follow up on the matter. According to her family member, who appeared on her behalf, attempts were made last year to reach the seller, identified as an Honorable, but no progress has been made. Despite previous communication with the seller through an intermediary, the issue remains unresolved.
The property, located in a prime Lagos estate, was reportedly paid for in full, yet the documents that would solidify Adenuga’s legal claim to the house have not been handed over. Additionally, her representative revealed that access to the property has been restricted. While she has been given a key, estate management has allegedly refused to allow her full entry, citing the absence of proper documentation.
Efforts to reach the seller have been unsuccessful, raising concerns about the legitimacy of the transaction. There are indications that the matter has previously been reported to authorities, including the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), but no resolution has been reached.
According to her, “I am here on behalf of my auntie. She is not in Nigeria; she is in London. We were here last year, and she said she bought a house from the Honorable. Someone even contacted him, but we have not heard anything since then. So, she asked me to come back again.”
