
A recent article from VANGUARD claims that Bayo Salami, a Nigerian living in South Africa, recently described his experience being mistreated by his family after returning to claim a property for which he had been transferring money. The news regarding the detention of a South Africa-based Nigerian at an Alfa’s residence upon his return to demand his properties by his family members stirred mixed reactions from the general public after the reports went viral across various social media platforms.
The elderly man, identified as Bayo Salami in a recent statement which was made available to the general public by news outlet, VANGUARD today being Monday the 31st day of March 2025, narrated his ordeal at the hands of his family.
According to Bayo Salami, he had been sending money to his family members to erect a befitting building for him.
However, on arrival to Nigeria to solve a family issue, he found out that he had been duped by his own family members. Regardless, he made a demand for his property, but was detained at an Alfa’s residence.
“I just arrived in Nigeria because of family issues and was asking about my properties and other things. They denied it, saying it’s still under development, and I didn’t complain. I just said I would go back to where I came from,” Salami explained.” He said.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
