Archbishop Okpala and his driver were released. A month after his kidnapping, Okpala, the retired Archbishop of the Niger Province and Bishop of Nnewi, was freed, according to the DAILY POST. As you may remember, he vanished while traveling to the Anambra State hamlet of Umuchu for a funeral. As at the time this article was filed, the Anglican Communion’s social media channels were celebrating his release, albeit specifics were still unclear.
