In Kaduna State, twenty-one (21) well-known members of the Labour Party, New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have formally defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). Along with other prominent politicians, Danjuma Laah, the former senator for the Kaduna South senatorial district, led the defection. Other members include Hon. Other notable defectors include Barrister Emmanuel Kantiok, Hon. Henry Marah Zakarieh, Hon. Samuel Kambai Koza, Hon. Donatus K. Mathew, and Eng. Michael Auta, the Labor Party’s candidate for senator from Zone 3. Other notable figures include former state chairman Nuhu Audu, Ben Kure, and NNPP heavyweight Kenneth Suwa.
