Lasbat Mojisola Meranda came with her entourage at around 11:15 a.m., according to Vanguard, the Speaker. Notably, Mudashiru Obasa, the former Speaker who is currently dealing with legal issues, has filed a lawsuit against the state lawmakers, arguing that he should not have been removed from office. According to reports, Obasa has filed a motion with the State High Court’s Ikeja Division, asking for an accelerated hearing on his case.
